JetBackup typically runs daily, creating new backups automatically.

Backup Times

Backups usually run during off-peak hours (overnight) to minimize server load.

Retention Period

Backups are kept for a specified period, allowing you to restore from multiple points:

• Daily backups: ~7-14 days
• Actual retention may vary by server

Checking Available Dates

1. Open JetBackup
2. View any backup type
3. See available dates listed

Backup Not Available?

If you need data from a date with no backup:

• Check closest available date
• Contact support - additional backups may exist

Supplementing JetBackup

For extra protection:

• Download backups periodically
• Use WordPress backup plugin
• Keep local copies of important data

Best Practice
