Adding Additional Domains

You can host multiple websites on your account by adding additional domains.

Adding a New Domain

1. Log into DirectAdmin
2. Click Domain Setup
3. Click Add Another Domain
4. Enter your domain name (without www)
5. Choose bandwidth and disk limits (or leave unlimited)
6. Click Create

After Adding the Domain

DirectAdmin automatically creates:

• A folder at domains/newdomain.com/public_html
• Email capabilities for the domain
• SSL certificate (via Let's Encrypt)

Pointing the Domain to Your Account

At your domain registrar, update the nameservers to point to Hostdeal, or use A records pointing to your server IP.

Addon Domain vs Pointer Domain

• Addon Domain - A completely separate website with its own files
• Pointer/Alias Domain - Points to an existing domain (same website, different address)

Creating a Pointer Domain

1. Go to Domain Pointers
2. Select the source domain
3. Enter the alias domain
4. Click Add
