How to Configure Email in Outlook
Setting Up Microsoft Outlook
Connect your Hostdeal email to Microsoft Outlook for Windows or Mac.
Email Settings

Setup Steps (Outlook 365/2019)
- Open Outlook
- Go to File > Add Account
- Enter your email address and click Connect
- Select IMAP when prompted
- Enter the server settings from above
- Enter your password
- Click Connect
IMAP vs POP3
- IMAP (Recommended) - Syncs emails across all devices
- POP3 - Downloads emails to one device only
Troubleshooting
If connection fails:
- Double-check your password
- Ensure SSL/TLS is enabled
- Try port 587 if 465 doesn't work
- Verify your email exists in DirectAdmin
