Using Your Own Domain

While your Lifetime Domain is included free, you can also use any domain you own with your Hostdeal hosting.

Step 1: Get Your Nameservers

Point your domain to Hostdeal's nameservers. You'll find these in your welcome email or DirectAdmin.

Step 2: Update Nameservers at Your Registrar

1. Log into your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.)
2. Find the nameserver or DNS settings for your domain
3. Replace the existing nameservers with Hostdeal's nameservers
4. Save your changes

Step 3: Add the Domain in DirectAdmin

1. Log into DirectAdmin
2. Click Domain Setup
3. Click Add Another Domain
4. Enter your domain name
5. Click Create

Propagation Time

DNS changes can take 24-48 hours to propagate worldwide, though it's often much faster. During this time, some visitors may see your old site while others see the new one.

Alternative: Using A Records

If you prefer to keep your nameservers elsewhere, you can point your domain using A records. Contact support for your server's IP address.
